Community Care Worldwide is pleased to announce that we are now part of the Communities of Health (CoH) group after recently receiving the CoH award.
The award recognises local groups and organisations in the London Borough of Newham for their contribution in improving health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities in their communities.
Emily Omueda, the founder of Community Care Worldwide said: “We are very happy to be awarded. The process was very good because it gave us the opportunity to reflect on what we are doing and how we are doing it. It also gave us the opportunity to come out and say we needed help, which we were not able to say before the process began. “
She added: “Although the process was challenging, it was worth going through because the Communities of Health team provided us with the support we needed. Words are just not enough to say thanks a million to every member of the team.”
This success does not only make Community Care Worldwide the 58th member of the CoH group, but also the first-ever widow support charity to be granted the award.
